This is an alternative that has been promoted until today as a “building renewal” by the Urban Renewal Authority, and will now be promoted simultaneously with the promotion of the Shaked alternative, in at least 18 municipalities. The program has the potential to add approximately 625,000 units.
This is a plan that was developed “based on” a plan promoted by the Authority since the announcement of the end of TAMA 38, and is called the “Building Renewal Plan”. As part of this, urban plans that will replace TAMA 38 are promoted and will be promoted, in cooperation between the government authority for urban renewal and the cities themselves. The ambition is to implement the plan at the end of the process in about thirty cities where TAMA 38 has actually been promoted to date.
A few weeks ago, a first center project within the “Goldknopf alternative” for the city of Ramla was approved for submission to the district committee. In Yavne, there is another program in an advanced phase, which should be submitted in the coming weeks. Additional programs are currently being promoted in the cities of Nahariya, Petah Tikva, Ashdod, Kfar Saba, Rishon Lezion, Kiryat Bialik, Haifa, Raanana, Lod, Bat Yam, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, Ramat Gan, Beit Shemesh, and Bnei Brak.
