The Israel Land Authority, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and a rental apartment announced that Rami Shebiru Engineering and Investments Ltd. won the tender for the construction of a residential complex in the Lakish Park district in the north of the city of Ashdod – which includes 106 units for long-term rent on 4,537 square meters.

According to conditions In the auction, the company was awarded the purchase of lease rights for the construction of a residential complex that includes 106 residential units for full construction, for the purpose of long-term rental for 20 years in the new quarter. The housing units will be built within the framework of the implementation of the roof agreement in Ashdod, with the company “Dira Hashakhir” marketing the project and managing the rental system.

Furthermore, it was announced that the winning bid, from the Rami Shabiru company, as mentioned, was in the amount of NIS 32.5 million. In addition, the company will pay an additional NIS 21 million for general development expenses, including payment for infrastructure upgrades in the old neighborhoods.

The Rami Shabiru company won another tender in the city from a few months ago, for the construction of 179 housing units for rent, also in the Lakish Park district. In total, approximately 2,700 housing units are expected to be built in the new district, alongside a structure for sheltered housing and apartments for long-term rent.

According to the plan, Ashdod’s new football stadium will also be built in the Lachish district, which will be built to international standards, as well as the sports complex which will include an arena, an Olympic swimming pool and training fields.

The Roof Agreement Administration, the executive arm of the Ashdod Municipality, states that they welcome the progress of the project, which will be built like the other projects for the benefit of the residents of Ashdod and its young people.
